Live Teleprompter User Agreement
1. Service
Live Teleprompter provides desktop script editing, reading pace controls, an output window, horizontal mirror, calibration mode, keyboard controls, and Pro features such as clean output without watermark, vertical mirror, and advanced layout controls.
2. Responsibility for Local Data
Back up important scripts before uninstalling the app, clearing the app container, changing devices, or reinstalling the system. We do not operate a cloud script vault and cannot recover local scripts that have been deleted from your device.
You are responsible for the scripts you enter, save, display, and output. Make sure you have the right to use any text, speech material, or presentation content.
3. Free and Pro
The Free version lets you try the core workflow and may include output time limits and watermarking. Pro is a one-time upgrade that unlocks unlimited clean output, removes the watermark, and enables vertical mirror and advanced layout controls. The actual price is the price shown by the App Store in your region.
4. Purchase, Restore Purchases, and Refunds
Pro purchase and restore purchases are handled by Apple App Store / StoreKit. Payment, taxes, family sharing, refunds, and purchase records are governed by Apple's applicable rules. Refund requests usually need to be handled through Apple's official channels.
5. Usage Environment and Limits
Output quality may depend on display connections, macOS permissions, system window management, teleprompter glass direction, font size, and device performance. Before a recording, livestream, class, or presentation, use calibration mode and a test script to confirm mirror direction and readability.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the app for unlawful, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, malicious, disruptive, or rights-violating activities. You are responsible for the content you import, edit, display, and share.
7. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable beyond legally required obligations for losses caused by script loss, accidental deletion, device failure, system limitations, display connection issues, recording or livestream accidents, third-party platform rule changes, App Store service issues, or force majeure events.
8. Intellectual Property
The app interface, icons, code, text, website, and related materials belong to their respective rights holders. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, commercially redistribute, or otherwise use them beyond normal app usage without authorization, except where permitted by law.
9. Changes
We may update this agreement as product features, laws, App Store requirements, or operations change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated agreement.
